La investigación de Viserys me entretuvo con esto del “little brother” pero en fin, se han dado varios candidatos pero aún pienso que será Jaime… aunque no me gustaría que el pobre Jaime termine matando a Cersei.
El caso es que “hermano” se usa para diferentes cosas, no solo para las personas con madre o padre en común. Los hermanos negros, la hermandad sin estandartes, y los hermanos juramentados de la guardia real. Aquí viene la cuestión. Ser Loras es el hermano pequeño de Jaime, por ejemplo. También vemos que Cersei en medio de la quem de la torre de la mano despide a su hermano Jaime diciéndole que Kettleblack, su hermano juramentado, la protegerá, y lo toma del brazo… en la cara de Jaime.
Lady Olenna Tyrell, the Queen of Thornes, estaba diciendo:
It is time the king and queen were put to bed.”
“Yes.” Cersei beckoned to Jaime. “Lord Commander, escort His Grace and his little queen to their pillows, if you would.”
“As you command. And you as well?”
“No need.” Cersei felt too alive for sleep. The wildfire was cleansing her, burning away all her rage and fear, filling her with resolve. “The flames are so pretty. I want to watch them for a while.”
Jaime hesitated. “You should not stay alone.”
“I will not be alone. Ser Osmund can remain with me and keep me safe. Your Sworn Brother.”
“If it please Your Grace,” said Kettleblack.
“It does.” Cersei slid her arm through his, and side by side they watched the fire rage.THE SOILED KNIGHT
¡Qué interesante! el título del siguiente capítulo, tan enganchado con el final del anterior: Luego de ver como Jaime y Cersei se pelean silenciosamente con Kettleblack en medio y los comendatarios de Tyrion dándole vueltas en la cabeza de James… sigue sumando puntos la teoría que apunta a Jaime, pero todo puede ser posible, todavía falta mucho, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta lo abrupto de los impactantes giros de GRRM
